Hi guys,
I git this Toshiba Canvio Plus 1TB liquid blue portable Hard Drive from Newegg.com last year July. I have problem since last week. one of the usb cable has a broken pin. I try to use it with this drive and it didn't come up.
I try another cable and it comes up, but it is slow and some inner folder hardly be able to read, it kind crash windows explore, windows say it none responsive. but when I wait long enough it come on.
since Sunday it say it need to reformat before I can use it. I did the reformat and it take few hours well before it finish, when I try to copy the entire contain of a 500gb seagate external usb drive to it. it take about 6 hours and when it finish, it behave worse than before.
I reformat it again. try to do the copy again, it took more than 24 hours to finish. now it can hardly read. Is there any hard disk utility from toshiba can check this hard drive. I think it is out of warranty now. I haven't register it when I bought it. so it can't even find this drive on toshiba data base.
Help.
