help with validating windows

hi and i've managed to reboot my computer now and it is all up and running again but it keeps coming up to say windows needs validating. My computer is quite old now and i know the product key would have ran out ages and ages ago so i was just wondering if there was another way i could validate it. thanks

Ya, it doesn't "run" out.

Just type in the key and try internet validation first, if that doesn't work then call them. Sadly I have the number memorized since I call it so much at work 1 (888) 571-2048. Anyway, when you call them and get your friend in India the reason for your reactivation is "re-installation" tell them it's only installed on this computer and they will give you the 42 digit confirmation code.
