Help with video card

Right now im using Asus a8v-mx as my current motherboard and i dont know which video card would be best for me. I just need a video card around 150$.

The A8V-MX is AGP only, here's a good option:

You don't worry about power plugs with VGAs. Either they come with the adapter or they use the standard plugs.

Look at the cables coming out of the power supply. There should be one that loooks like this:

(may not be black, but will have 6 pins).

You can also get an adaptor that will convert two molex connectors (they type that plug into hard drives) into one of these (the card should come with one).

You will want to make sure that your PSU can handle this card. Take a look at the sticker on the side of it. What's the wattage, and more importantly the amperage on the +12V line?

The adapter for the power plug is included in the box for the X850 models.

Connection to the system power supply is required. The power supply should have a specialized 12V graphics card power connector (adapter included)

Your powersupply might not handle it...But lets put it this way, my old 300watt powersupply had 19amps. But you can always give it a try.
