Help With Video Ram

How do I know if my laptop is able to share its ram to video ram?

sorry for my newbie question , hope you can help me guys

first off, wecome to CF! it would help if you post the make and model of your laptop. if youre able to share RAM, you will find an options menu in the BIOS where you would be able to allocate ram. you can get to the BIOS screen by restarting your computer and rapidly pressing an F# button (usually F2, F8, F10).
