help with win install

trying to finish build on computer but running into some issues

The first time i tried to load windows i coulndt press f8 to accept the agreeemtne so i pressed esc

now icant get the opportunity to install windows again
it just goes to verifying dmi pool and hangs


what do i do?
 
Get the computer to boot to your windows cd. After starting up, tap the 'del' key and go into bios, make sure your set to boot to cd as your first option, than restart with the cd in the drive. See if that works.
 
what he said, except its not always the Del key to go into BIOS, sometimes its F1 or F2, and once your in BIOS there may be a section of it called "Boot" or it may be in another area, but just make sure the 1st boot device is your CD-ROM
 
i go t that far but i still cant press f 8 to accept the agreement
its a keyboard with multifunction f keys

so i may have to busst out a nother keyboard in order to accept
all the other keys i need work except the f 8 go figure
