Help!

I just install windows 7 ultimate to my 3 year old Toshiba satilite p105-s6134 laptop, the sound is not working, anyone know where I can find the driver for it? I try toshiba website, no luck.

Have you tried finding the Vista drivers and installing them? Most Vista drivers will work and should be available from Toshiba's site.
 
Hmm... And Toshiba doesn't have 7 drives posted? Sometime PC Wizard will say what your audio codec is and/or device is. If you're lucky, it'll say what your machine has (even without the drivers loaded). If you can find something like "rtl8187" sometimes you can go hunting for those specific drivers for 7.

The problem is that this laptop is built before 2007, Toshiba is not supporting it. so they have no driver for it. I can't even know who made this audio chip. If I know I maybe contact the manufacture to see if they support windows7. I have called toshiba tech support. the guy told me it is from Intel. but when I run the main board check. it say didn't find any Intel main board in the computer. I am confused.
