Hello

Well i decided i wanted a new processor for my computer. This is the first time im installing a CPU. I looked up videos and other stuff on how to do it. And i have one question to ask. Is a anti-static wristband REQUIRED. And if it is can someone tell me how to use it for dummys.

Not really. All you really need to do is not do the switch on carpet or a blanket. And touch an unpainted metal surface (like the case) to discharge any static and ground yourself.

Out of interest what processor and motherboard do you have, and what cpu are you buying?
