my drive corrupted just now
i saved my damn important data inside and it lost then it asked me to format the drive as it had not been formatted yet..
are there any other ways to recover my data instead of sending my hard disk million miles aways from my house to fix it and it is pricy too fix too

what was the problem? how did it happen? what were you doing? were their any messages besides the prompt telling you to format it?
 
i am formatting my c drive and my d drive corruptted..
it just showed something like a when u insert a new dise into a drive and ask u to format it as it had not been format..
 
i find it really hard to understand you. ok you said you formatted your c drive.. n then the d drive corrupted? im guessing you have 2 seperate hard drives or you have 2 partitions on your hard drive maybe one for storage or for running a different os? or both different os? because D is usually the your cd/or dvd drive..

post back so i know that i understood u correctly
 
my c drive and d drive is on two different hard disk not partition on a same hard disk and my cd rom is h drive..i usually use my d to store my musics, movies and data.that's why i feel weird and are they related?

1. They arent related.
2. Does your C drive work yet? If it does, does chkdsk properly check out the D drive?
