hi, im a newbiw on here, sorry it this is in teh wrong section. On my computer i have recently had a virus. seeing as I could not get rid of it i reinstalled windows xp. Now my computer is telling me i have insufficent memory. I think all my files are still on teh computer from my previous XP when i had the virus. Can anyone help me either delete these files or any help what so ever on what to do? thanks!

when you reinstall you have to click "delete partition" on it when asked because that's your old installation, did you do that or create a new one?

Now my computer is telling me i have insufficent memory.

Welcome to Computer Forum. At what point to you get this message? It says you have insufficient memory or space? Deleting files won't free up memory.

i think you are mixing up two different things memory = Ram memory ,
space = hard disk space , if it says low virtual memory either buy more ram or close some programs or increase yor virtual memory from my computer . if it space then just copy some files to the original partitoin you had.

ive sorted it now guys! just one more thing, my webcam is slowing down my computer? anyone know why? and if so how i can sort it? thanks

Thats happens on my downstairs computer. Try installing the latest drivers for it, and for the motherboard.
