Hey im new here And i got a bug quesiton, i dont kbnow whats wrong first my specs

Amd +4200x2

1 gig Cosair

Abit/guru sli mb

2-Msi 7300gt vid cards

2- segate 80 gig hdds, Raid 0 Config.



Ok here smy problem, i just set everything up, this is a new rig....

Im haivng problmes installing dlled software, Says I/o error, corrupted media or installation file..

Now i thought .. hmm maybe 1 file, but this is happening to numerous other things i try and dl, and i cant figure out what it is, i have not yet dlled service pack 2 yet, but i also do not rmemebr on my old rig this being a problem

Any info would be nice

What is your OS? and CPU socket?
 
Since you said you didnt have SP2, i would reccomend getting it, that may be a part of your problem. Also, what firewall are you running? and antivirus and adware?

I run the firewall that came with mobo, very ncie actually, and macafee for anti virus, i also run encryption on major computer files, and on anythign that might be somewhat important..

Funny i cant dl aim 5.9 , but i can dl triton (which blows)

Just wierd, and its not the hdds, there brand new got them in today
