Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought PWL files were Windows Password Lists.

Why would you want to convert to avi :confused:

The file C:\Documents and Settings\James\My \startek.wpl is not a supported file type, and it cannot be imported into Windows Movie Maker.
Its a movie and this is what is says.i wish to comvert it to avi so i can import it to windows movie maker

By this website, that's simply a playlist and not a video. Open it in Windows Media Player and find the location of the video(s) associated with it.

Oh, Oops! I didn't notice that. If the file can open on Windows Media Player you
should be able to save as your own file type (either that or rip it)

After the confusion, it seems it is as The_Other_One says. This is simply the playlist and not the video.
