My video drivers recently stopped responding. I could not run anything that required them. Yet they showed up perfectly fine. So i decided to uninstall the drivers.

But everytime it tells me they are uninstalled and to restart my computer, I restart and they still appear to be installed. And i can still set my resolution.

What make and model video card are you using? Are you using an installed AGP or PCI-Express card or the onboard video?

ATI Offboard Hightech Excalibur Radeon 9550SE Series 256mb.

You should have a copy of the uninstall utility right on the cd that came with the card. But you can also download a newer one that seems to work just as well as the older models direct from ATI.
