Here's my current set-up, what will more RAM do for me?

I had my PC custom built for me about 3 or 4 years ago, and it's still running very fast, absolutely no problems, and plays any game I throw at it, usually high-ultra graphics but newer games tend to require I play on Medium quality.

My PC doesn't have "lag", I wouldn't say, but compared to my brother's Brand New $1200 custom PC, there's a noticeable difference regarding just the general speed and flow of everything.

So.. here's my current set-up, my motherboard supports up to 32 GB of RAM, I currently have 8 GB, so basically, is it worth investing in more RAM, if so, how much RAM would be a good investment? Thanks!

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77M-D3H, Chipset: Intel
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.40 GHz - 4 Cores
Memory: DDR3 8GB (Two 4GB sticks)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

Thank you!

Most likely need to upgrade your video card, the 560 is kinda mid range anymore.

Would it even be worth investing in another 8GB of RAM, or would I not even notice a difference?

And if I were to upgrade my graphics card, is there a model you would recommend? (:

RAM won't help you much. You need a stronger GPU like a GTX 760 or GTX 770.

Would it even be worth investing in another 8GB of RAM, or would I not even notice a difference?

You wouldn't notice any difference.

More RAM won't affect gaming performance but faster RAM might..

Another thing is your graphics card. An update to something more modern will allow for a faster framerate and increased quality.

Getting more RAM will have minimal gains in performance, if any at all that are noticeable.

Get a new video card if you want better settings/frames in games.

Unless your utilization is high 80's or 90's, you probably won't notice adding more.

Also, while faster RAM equates to a couple of percent of performance, it's not enough gain to warrant replacing the sticks versus just getting a better video card.

If you don't have an SSD currently that would make the most enormous 'generally zippy' performance difference. Since you mentioned gaming though it sounds like your GPU no longer meets your performance requirement/expectation.

I would recommend an SSD and a new graphics card like a GTX 970 if you really want to max stuff out.

An R9 290X is a good option as well
