im trying to fix this laptop, hp, and first there were about 400+ adware and trojans . even after i removed all of them using Kaspersky Anti-Virus 7.0 it still freezes when i start it up and if it doesnt it still slow
any help
 
Boot to safe-mode, run Adaware, Spybot, and hijackthis. Post the log here. Also, if you get it going again, check the task manager and see of anything's taking up too much processing power.
 
did what was posted and there a difference but the start up is still a problem it still freezes before im able to do anything
 
I doubt. you removed everything.

I had some hidden on my pc that nothing found and removed no mattyer what I just had to reformat.

Of course Im pretty sure they were all my fault that I got em because I was probbaly doing things I shouldn't have been doing but that's besides the point.

Where does it freeze up at start up? Can you sign in your account? until when does it freeze? Also what are your start up programs, if you have to many checked it can do that to an older pc.
 
Yeah go to start>run>type msconfig.

I don't think you need a guide to tell you which aren't needed, you can see what you wont and will need.
 
400+ calls for a good ol' reformat. I wouldn't even try fixing that many... but if you don't want to:

Download CCleaner
Download Stinger
Download Spybot Search & Destroy
Download Avast Antivirus and scan
Download AVG Antivirus and scan.

Then you might wanna try and do a repair...

No No those are all good but do not install 2 anti viruses.
 
i got it fixed it still a piece of crap laptop but its not mine and i made 60 bucks so thanks would slit the money but you know
