i need help...i was stupid and really ignorant when I bought my first computer and I bought a dell dimension 4600c....yeah i know...but now that I look for graphics cards I cant find one that fits....can anyone help me find one that is a low profile agp card?
any recomendations are welcome
 
What's your budget? And what are the specs of the 4600C since I can't find any good site with specs on it.
 
Well then the only problem is space and the fact that Dell computers aren't very "upgrade-friendly" since they usually have special PSU's which are just enough for the default specs. So it would be best if you were able to get a whole new system, otherwise a passively cooled low-powered videocard would be the only option.
 
Theproblem is caused by the fact that Dell doesn't follow the standards when it comes to size. This means that any other PSU, which isn't Dell, won't fit. This is intentionally done by Dell since every time somebody who has bought a Dell wants to upgrade they force them to either buy a new Dell or buy another brand or make a custom built PC.
 
ya and u coukld change cases but dell makes there mobos to strickly fit theer cases since they are so small i know ati has soem good performing small gfx cards like do u want to do some sereous gaming or what liek u said size matters but what is it for
