Hey, well here it goes,

My new motherboard Asus A8N32 deluxe supports ram DDR266/333/400MHz SDR RAM. Recently i bought 2x 1 gig DDR3200 400MHz but CPU-z is showing that its only 200MHz, and was wondering how i can fix it to run at 400, and also does CPU-z actually tell you the MHz yr memory is running at, and if not how to find it?

also in a nother computer iv got a 1gig 200Mhz and a 256 mb 166MHz memory, now i know my 1 gig memory will only run as fast as the 166MHz and was wondering would i get better performance if i just took out the 256mb 166hz memory out completely, in this computer i have intel 2.5 ghz and runz at 2500MHz...

thanx guys i hope the above made sence :)

For the first: 200MHz is correct. 400MHz is DDR (2x actual) not the actual rate.

1GB is probably enough for the other system but You could always try it both ways and see which configuration is faster.

but the problem is my old ddr2300 was 200MHz and it also showed as 200MHz in cpu-z? thats why im wondering?

Do you mean your old 3200? 2300 doesn't exist without over/underclocking. 1600/2100/2700/3200 (or 100/133/166/200MHz or DDR200/266/333/400)

As I said earlier, PC3200, or DDR400 runs at 200MHz so it is correct and running at full speed. :)

Ok, im getting it now, its cool, im guessing my old memory is DDR400 aswell lol, i thaught it was smaller? thanx for clearing stuff up :)
