After Buying XP Home and Installing it Ive decided that I dont like it that much...I prefer M.E.....so What I did was Installed Me on one 80 gig hard drive and installed XP on a seperate 80 gig Hard drive ...what can I use to boot between the two Hard Drive/OS's?

Mind you I like XP for the stability but it wont run my Games, and my recording software ( Im a Musician)

M.E. on the other hand will run all of my games and music software etc....but it doesnt support files over 4 gig.:>(

Any Help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in Advance ,Galaxy

XP should run any programs you have fine, it has a compatability mode.

if you install your program, right click and run in Windows 2000 compatability mode.

Hi Again

Tried the compatability thingy it ran my games but screwed the sound up and picture just a bunch of nonsense, thats why I want to have a dual boot system:) Problem solved if I can get someone to please tell me what program to use for a dual boot:cool: Thanks Again , Galaxy

windows XP HOME was the mistake you made

So are you saying XP PRO is the answer?

The differences between the two versions of XP should not change the outcome of the problems Galaxy is having with game and music software compatability.

OK Ive Installed Two OS'es On two seperate Hard Drives

what do I do> Set both Hard Drives as Master on IDE Port 1? Im kinda new to this dual os thing so please be gentle.....thanks , Galaxy

Me Again...

I could move my ide cable to whatever hard drive I want to run whether it be Me or XP Hard drive but it seems like a big pain in the butt....Theres not a Dual boot program out there in cyberspace I could download to solve this?
Thanks again , Galaxy
