hi all got a probloem here???

when plugging lead from laptop into tele, the laptop screen doesnt go off which causes a distraction when using laptop through tele, is their a way i can watch laptop on tele while laptop screen is off or at least dark?
 
If your computer is using dedicated graphics there may be a setting somewhere in your ati/nvidia control center for it, you'd have to poke around though.

Or you could change your power settings for 'lid close action' to do nothing. that way you could close the laptop and it wouldn't go to sleep or anything, and still send the visual to your display
