Hi,

I`m going to buy some new stuff for my computer today and I just want some of you guys to see if all the parts fits and give me some tips and stuff.

i got this motherboard, Asus M3A, AMD 770, Socket-AM2+, DDR2
and I`m looking for a new processor, i have this now AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 3.2GHz Socket,

But i want something faster and a much more quiet, I found this AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition, I`m only guessing it is faster because of the price, is it? is there any other product I can buy that is faster and fits my motherboard to a middle class price?
Does it make a lot of noise? what do I need to buy to get the noisemaker down?

I`m also going to buy Vista Business SP1,OEM,DVD,64 because I was i ****ing idiot to buy my computer with Ultimate 32-bit.
I`m also considering buying the Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB,
10000RPM, SATA, 3 Gb/s, 16MB

The Phenom 9950 is the fastest Phenom out right now. The 9850 is selling for alot cheaper, plus the 9950 is just 100 more and both are unlocked.

Saying that if you wait a few weeks the Phenom II is being released. Even if you dont want a Phenom II the prices will probably drop on the original Phenom.

Ok, thanks dude. do you know how much better/faster the Phenom II will be? i mean is it that big difference between the AMD Phenom X4 9950 and the new one? is it worth waiting?
because i some how want this stuff before Christmas.
