Hi,

I`m going to buy some new stuff for my computer today and I just want some of you guys to see if all the parts fits and give me some tips and stuff.

i got this motherboard, Asus M3A, AMD 770, Socket-AM2+, DDR2
and I`m looking for a new processor, i have this now AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, 3.2GHz Socket,

But i want something faster and a much more quiet, I found this AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition, I`m only guessing it is faster because of the price, is it? is there any other product I can buy that is faster and fits my motherboard to a middle class price?
Does it make a lot of noise? what do I need to buy to get the noisemaker down?

I`m also going to buy Vista Business SP1,OEM,DVD,64 because I was i ****ing idiot to buy my computer with Ultimate 32-bit.
I`m also considering buying the Western Digital VelociRaptor 150GB,
10000RPM, SATA, 3 Gb/s, 16MB

well your going from dual core to quad core so yes def. faster as for those two being compatible shouldn't you know this before you do it? think you need some research on this stuff before you just start buying and trying it. and just to answer your question yes the cpu and motherboard will work.
