hiberbernate and sound

Uh alright and the problem is?

Hibernate is the pc going off but just enough power to keep things open such as programs but sound shuts off.

Soemthing like that.

when i put my computer into hibrnate and leave it my sound stops orking after i resume it.i have to restart for it to work right.

so when i resume from hibernate my sound is suppos to stop working.

ill explain one more time and make it simple.

WHEN I PUT THE COMPUTER IN TO HIDBERNATE IT SHUTS OFF AS NORMAL.
WHEN I RESUME FROM HIBERNATE THE SOUND DOSE NOT WORK TILL I RESTART.

That is a problem.. Unfortunately i don't have a solution for you except to use standby instead.

Anyways hibernate is buggy, last time I attempted to use it, I couldn't exit.

Dont be so aggressive dude, we are just trying to understand your problem better to help you more.

I cannot see how this could be causing your sound to do this, what OS are you using, what sound card are you using?

Try upgrading the drivers and Direct X if either isn't the newest driver.

Honestly, as someone else mentioned, I'd just use Standby if at all possible. That's what I do with my laptop basically all the time. Battery consumption isn't too bad either.
