ok so before when i had vista installed...it had the hibernate option so i didnt have to log off and have all my stuff not signed in.
now i re-installed vista and now i dont get that option, how do i get the hibernate option again?
I have a solution, i think.
I use Tuneup utilities 2009.
In that under the 'free disk space' tab, it shows an option to disable or enable windows services like 'Hibernation'(it occupies around 2-3
GB space), windows messanger and indexing option.
I have disabled my hibernate option from there and i can always enable that from there.
Download the full functional trial version from http://www.tune-up.com/download/
and try to enable the hibernation from there.
I think it will work.
