hide folder/file

Hi...

is there any software that can hide folder / file which inside external hd? so after i unplug d external hd n plug it to other pc, that file or folder still hide..

windows XP ? lol, why not hide it normally by right-clicking on it -->properties,set attributes to hidden !!
 
I know that bro.....what i mean is...i gonna hide folder / files within my external hd..if i remove that external hd from my pc, then plug it to others pc....all the hidden files or folders still in hidden mode. Means that person from other pc can't see all my hidden files and folders....do i need to use a tool?
