How do you hide things from your taskbar (startbar), for example i have MSN plus and when i press Ctrl + Space, it will hide all the things related to MSN on the taskbar, and it will just not show till i double click the MSN icon on the bottom right, i was thinking if this is possible to do with other programs for exmaple when i have word and internet explored open i can press like something and it will hide internet explorer things in the taskbar. Is there a programs that can do these kinds of things?

Most often an individual program itself sees an option to hide when minimized to the Start task bar or system tray notification area. The underscore "_" seen in the upper right hand corner for any window open will minimize that to the task bar while leaving it still visible for maximizing it later.

no

ok, i know that. what i mean is how to do minimize programs that do not have that option to the system tray, for example word or IE or chrome or a computer game.

On IE or any other type of explorer window will see the underscore for minimizing right next to the button with the one or two square icons for maximizing. The alt-spacebar combination is the keyboard option for minimizing along with maximizing as well plus the move, size, and close options.

For XP and older versions not Vista the Windows icon application key and D max or minimize open windows displayed on the desktop. For games the alt-enter combo takes a game displayed out full screen and reduces it somewhat to a large window that covers up most of the desktop will leaving some space to work around(limited). Some will see the underscore/maximize buttons depending on what game, how old, etc. there.

For XP and older versions the hot key chart can be looked over at http://www.geocities.com/ian_springer/winkey.html

As another alternative you could spend on a virtual keyboard program while those may be quite limited on the number of macros you can set up for use. A trial version of one program like this can be tried out at http://www.softpedia.com/get/Deskto...ancements/Virtual-Programmable-Keyboard.shtml
