High Cpu Usage

i need help

ive tried everything

virus scans, anti spyware
and my stupid cpu usage wont go down

my idle is 99
but my spu usgae is like 60% to 90%
i cant do anything

AMD 3500+
1gig ram
Geforce 6500 (just bought 2 months ago)
Windows MCE 05

There have been many questions pertaining to the system idle process.

Basically, the idle process shows how much of your CPU you're not using.

lol, but the system idle process basically does monitor the inactivity of the CPU. Task manager simply records it wrong or something, because everything thinks it's using almost 100% of their CPU.

when i go on internet its slow
and when i do other tasks
especially when playing BF2142 and CS:S i get low fps and SUPER lagg like i can move but takes like 10 minutes


do you think it could be my gfx card?

and how can u notice stability problems?

well BF2124 and CS:S will lag a bit with

AMD 3500+
1gig ram
Geforce 6500 (just bought 2 months ago)

For CS:S go into the council by pressing ~ <----
type in

rate 25000
cl_cmd 101
cl_update 101
cl_rate 17000

see if the lag goes away. if not then you might just have to many things runnin. turn off all your start ups and services in msconfig and see if that helps. if not, then its proabbly the gfx card even though that card ya got shouldnt cuase you any problems at all..
