High Def Monitors...

What does that mean? What can I do that actually is high def? haha

The monitor stated in Sig supports HD... I want to check it out! What could I do?

All computer monitors are HD (HD meaning High-Definition). It simply means that the monitor supports higher resolutions then SD monitors and TV's. I believe the highest HD resolution is 1080P, which runs at 1920x1080, at 60fps.

No DVD's are HD btw. There really isnt anything special with HD that cant be done on an ordinary computer monitor.

What about playing X Box 360 on my monitor? Or PS3?

Probably, but it has to convert the HD stuff into VGA standard, and it is orginal MS. That also means that it is almost guaranteed to work.

I dont think the adapters will come cheap...

Dont you think its a bit... much? 35$ for an adapter???

It's not too badly priced considering the Monster brand cables start @ 60 - 70 dollars.

But as far as a noticable difference, i think it will depend on you and your standards of what looks good. It should yeild a good picture, but I think you might have to find a way to use DVI to connect to the monitor for the best picture.

I am more concerned with the differences going from a HDTV to a Computer monitor using HD. Like my buddies $1200 Samsung using 720p compared to my Viewsonic.
