I received a nice Sony High Definision (HDR-CX200) video camera for a gift on Father's day. I can play the HD video .....in HD....when watching the HD video while my camera is plugged into my PC via the USB cable and using the sony software that came with the camera.
I've been importing the HD video to my pc from the camera - everything is good and I can watch the video in HD as long as my Sony Camera is plugged into the PC. However, when I unplug and watch the HD video that I copied from the camera onto my PC the audio is good but the video is jerky and pauses. The software on my PC is not able to process the HD video quickly enough. I have VLC, Real Player (free version) and Quicktime players. I have two 512mb video cards on my pc and everything to be able to handle HD video.
Is there some FreeWare out there I can download so I can watch the HD video on my PC that has been captured with my Sony Cam and saved onto my PC?
Am I making sense here? Sorry, I'm not the most PC litterate guy when it comes to new software.
