High-end public GPUs

7800GTX or X1800 XL?

This is just going to turn into another thread of Nvidia VS ATi no doubt. Thing is both company's are great and take turns in the spotlight. Neither company is better then the other although they both make superior products over the other at different times and different levels. I love ATi because they are a Canadian company but this does not cloud my judgment of what product is best at the time which is the reason I've got the 6800GT in my machine now. Who knows it just might be an ATi next time around.
 
im not going to vote for either of them, i think there is a secret agreement between the companies to try an match each other for performance. ive never understood why they always managed to get the performance of the high end cards so close that it doesn't make a difference

lol here in Texas we don't get alot of Canadian's, like to poke fun hehe.

but i really didn't know ATi was Canadian...do you know where nVidia originates or w/e u call it?
