High Pitch Sound

I have a high pitch sound coming from my computer coming from inside the electricity transformer box thing (very technical i know lol)
It goes along with the workings of the hard drive
I was wondering what it was and how to stop it's constant annoyingness lol

LOL take a can of air and blow the dust out. So its coming from the PSU? It might be cap dying.

That doesnt sound good, it must be a very slow death, its been doin it since i got it a couple of years ago lol

Maybe it's a dramatic cap? lol. If it's coming from your power supply it may be a sign that it's going out, you may want to think about investing in a knew one, if in fact it is. Remember that in some cases a power supply could take a system with it if it goes out.

sadly you correct I my hp due to a bad psu
