High Speed vs DSL for online games

I have Cable High Speed Internet(RR 7 Mbps), lately we are having trouble with it not working part of the time. I need to know if DSL(1mb) would play games(World of Warcraft) and support up to 3 different comps at a time.

I would believe so. WoW can be played, however poorly, on dial-up, A 1 Mb connection should suffice. It'll support 3 computer fine, long as the network is through a switch, or router. Don't expect them all to play WoW at the same time perfectly though.
