Hijack log help please

Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
I noticed a dialer has got through onto the computer. It is GBDialler.
I have Googled around and it seems to be associated with a toolbar, which never showed up on IE.
I have done the usual things, Spybot, Adaware and Spyware Blaster checks as well AVG. It hasn't been recognised by any of them, but I got rid of the usual rubbish, cookies and references to directories that dont appear to exist. I always have folder options on "show all" incidently. Normally I would just remove the dialler but from searching it seems a more indepth way is better for this one.
I tried Hijack this and here is the log.
I think the Search Miracle one is something that shouldn't be there but other things aren't so obvious.

vaiolator

here's your dialer...(place a check by it and have HJT remove it)

O16 - DPF: {FF3F0F03-0F01-131A-A3F9-08F02B23E0CC} - http://66.117.37.13/gba2106.exe

Here's some others to remove as well:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://searchmiracle.com/sp.php
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {0894FF00-F6F5-430a-8915-2327EE763E88} - (no file)

Reboot and post back to let me know if things are ok. :)

Thanks for the advice. I have removed the entries you mentioned.
I manually deleted GBDialer from "Dial up Networking".
I have rescanned with the checkers and they show nothing.
The new HJT log looks clear to me. (see below)
I can still find two entries in the registry at these places, which mention GBDialer.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Regedit

Is that anything to worry about, do you know?
The other mentions of GBDialer that were under RemoteAccess in the reg. have now gone.

Just as an aside, Spybot often shows directories in D:My Documents that don't seem to exist. I always have all files showing anyway. If I ask it for more info, it says path does not exist. Sometimes, it will then not respond as I leave them ticked and ask it to clean them up. Any ideas?

Thanks again.

those reg entries shouldn't pose a problem at this point, since the startup entry and file are now deleted thanks to Hijackthis. You could run a registry cleaner to pick up some of inert reg entries.

I neglected to mention earlier, you should also take out the following Alexa items, (thank you Microsoft!):

O9 - Extra button: Related - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Show &Related Links - {c95fe080-8f5d-11d2-a20b-00aa003c157a} - C:\WINDOWS\web\related.htm

As for Spybot, is your "My Documents" folder actually located on you D drive? Your system is on your C...

Thanks for the reply.
I do have a folder called "My Documents" on the D drive, but it was one I created if I recall, as opposed to the original one.
I may go and rename it and see if it happens again in the future. I am sure when I first saw it happen, I searched the D drive for a few of the files and folders that were apparently found there by Spybot. Nothing was found by Windows. I have always put it down to a bug in the programme rather than anything untoward. If it happens again I will start a thread asking if anyone else has noticed it happening.

I will take the alexa ones out, but I never use the related search facility anyway.

Thanks again for your time and help.
Cheers. :)
