Besides running AdAware SE Personal to clean up some adwares that like to accumilate in the browser cookies folder there are a few items seen here that can leave you open for them. These may or may not be related to things you have installed yourself here.

I don't know if these links will help in what you are looking for specifically.

I got tied up last night when someone stated having problems with a new toolbar added to his browser. Some people never heard of firewalls apparently as some 35 trojan downloaders were found. When going into the add/remove to uninstall it there a web page immediately opened with a fresh download ready to be saved to the drive or run. NO WAY! With RegCleaner cleaned up all loose entires after scans with AdAware, Webroot Spy Sweeper, and Ewido to manually remove the registry entry there. The tool bar was later removed from the add/remove listing. If that Viewpoint toolbar is anything like that and you are instantly brought to a page for a download you won't want another installer running. This is a rather new type of browser hijacker type malware.
