I wanted to know if this vid card: HIS Radeon X1650 / 512MB DDR2 / PCI Express / DL DVI / VGA / HDTV / CrossFire Ready / Video Card

can work on a core 2 duo powered computer. I like what i see so far as far as specs go, so...i would like something similar.
 
Any card will work with a C2d. But if you want the most bang for your buck I'd recommend at least a 7900gs for Dx9, or a 8800gts for Dx10.
 
Yes that card will work with a Core 2 Duo. But why would you want it? The x1650 is a really poor card, and why would you waste money on getting it with 512MB of RAM.
 
get a 8800 gts u get more out of it, well worth it, i have a x1650, it works great though , im saving up for 8800

Thats a huge price gap, if he cant afford $250-$300 for a single card, you he would be better off with a 7900GS, or an even better 7950GT.
 
don't buy HIS stuff. poorest drivers ever dude. F up my computer when i try to uninstall the HIS driver. stupid HK stuff never gonna trust them again
