History Files?

Does anyone know where Internet Explorer saves the history files on the hard drive, other than just looking at them through Internet Explorer...If there is a place where they are saved then this will enable me to save/ look at the exact date in which these files were created...

i just go Internet options general tab and delete from there? is there a better way then?!

i dont want to delete them, i want to save them like to a different location or disk......is there anyway that i can then view them.....wouldnt it be like an internet explorer link or what?

where at under this...i dont see what i saw in the browser under history...i dont want the cookies i need like the link to the sites
