I am using XP-Pro for an o/s and wish to know how to delete the history that shows up as you type an address in the URL text window. The history that shows up in the pull down is deleted. Thats not a problem, just the info that shows as you type.

When you go to delete internet history, select to delete form data as well.

Or use Ccleaner, which you should be running at least once a week anway.

I'm using firefox as a brouser and cant seem to find where that is. Also I rum Malwarebytes once a week but that doesnt do it.

Well MalwareBytes won't delete it I can tell you that.

Press ctrl+shift+delete
Switch it to "Time range to clear: Everything:"
Check all the boxes except site preferences.
