Hit Counter help

I am trying to make a Hit Counter for my web site and I don't know anything about PHP CODE.

So it is not working at all and my Server does support PHP.

I know that there is ather Program Coding out there and not just PHP.

But I am trying to learn and do it myself and with no one to help it is very hard and I know this is why it does not work.

Some people say Hit Counters are Bad for BIZZ and they don't look good.

But I need one to findout how many people go to my web site.

If someone can tell me step by step how to make one and what to do I know it will work.

Can anyone help me??
 
Can you paste the code here? I'll try to help.

You can always go into your CPanel from your host, and get the true stats, as to who is visiting, and a whole lot more.
