well.. i purchased the Halflife Collectors Edition when it came out.
the only thing is, i want to play DoD.
on the website they Say, silver and Gold package owners can download it for free, now, this may be a stupid question but it that CE one of these 2?

If its the collectors edition I'm sure they would include a bunch of games like Half Life Source and DOD Source, I wounldnt worry about it.
 
Yeh, if you paid out for that im pretty certain they wouldnt make you pay for something like DoD source. Look around steam for a ges then try emailing em. If you hadnt noticed alredy, theyve updated steam, so it may be a bit different now, not sure....
 
Nope, Collectors editpoin does NOT enclude it. Which are you looking to play, Day Of Defeat? or Day Of Defeat:Source? you can get day of defeat plus another 5 games(some you might already have) for 20$, and then source is 30$ I think.(and its nonly source)


Also you would "Download" it in your steam client, it would automatically show up there.


How much did CE cost? Silver edition cost mroe then it does to buy it is a store BECAUSE it does come with those other games.
 
Less than the actual retail version?? So you are saying I can get the collectors edition for under $35??? I dont think so.

Retial versoin doesn't include Dod:S either, im talking about the differences in the retail collecters editoin and silver and gold on steam which cost more but include the other games.
