Ok, so basically I have an older Toshiba Satellite Mobile Intel laptop and a newer HP dv1000 laptop.

The Toshiba Needs:
A New screen
A New Battery
A New Keyboard (well it's missing keys i mean)

The HP Needs:
A New Motherboard
A New DVD Drive

Toshiba Specs.:
Celeron (R) CPU 2.00 GHZ
240 MB of Ram
WinXp
30 gb hardrive

HP dv1000 Specs.:
54g™ 802.11b/g WLAN with 125HSM / SpeedBooster support
1.6 GHz Intel® Celeron® M Processor 380
1MB L2 Cache
60 gb hard drive
512 mb RAM

oops haha i guess i forgot about that... haha I basically need to combine these together and i need to figure out if i can put the toshiba's motherboard and CPU into the HP, does anyone see a problem in this plan?? like is there some way that i need to check if the toshiba motherboard will fit into the hp??

Most likely, no. But I could be wrong. The easiest way for the Toshiba would be to buy a new one. The cost to fix the screen will probably cost more than it is worth. As for the dell, is it not working due to the motherboard (like you know it's forsure the motherboard)? Or you just want a new one? The dvd drive could be easily replaced, or if you never had one, could be easily added.

well, i know it's the motherboard because my mom spilled coffee on it and when we sent it into hp they said it just needs the motherboard replaced.
