so i saw a deal in todays news paper, they are selling a new HP quad core 2, with a 800GB of hard drive, DVD burner, and 5Gb of ram, all for $300
this seems to good to be true, i should scan this and show you guys, but im thinking, whats the catch? $300 is super low, whats up with that?

Most likely has the lowend 610 or 620 propus chip. No L3 cache

This is my first attempt. However this is also the first time I have tried to do a build to compete price wise.

EDIT: Add $30.00 for the OD and whichever OS. So yeah this is why I dont have a computer company that competes with them.

its probably outdated overstock that they need to get rid of. thers now way you could possibly build for taht price, so i would say pick one up for that pruce(if they have one in stock) pop in a video card and it will proly be a pretty good low end gaming pc
