Home Network (Vista/XP)

Hello Forum,
I am trying to set up a home network so we (Family) can print from the computer upstairs to the printer downstairs. I have tried to run the network wizard on the main computer, but I run into a problem. The wizard asks me to insert a floppy disk in order to complete it on computers that have different operating systems. None of the computers have floppy drives on them, so I can't do that.

I need to find a way to set up a home network for printing that doesn't use floppy drives.

Thanks

You dont have to use the floppy. Just select skip this option. Just make sure every computer runs the network wizard and is set in the same WORKGROUP.

And what ever computer the printer is on make sure you set the printer as a shared device.
