Hello all,
I've a new Internet connection through a cable with an IP, gateway and DNS server already been defined. Well, I have the Internet connected to my Desktop Computer, I've get a new network card to make this computer serve as a router, and I Get also a HUB, but I need some help in configuring the NIC ?

Let me get this straight, you have the internet connected to your desktop, and the hub connected to your desktop?

The easiest and probably best way is to get a router, and configure it to connect from the modem > router > PC's. Because the way your describing it means you need your PC on all the time.

Agreed... You can share the internet from one computer, but using a router is much easier. Plus router's are getting fairly cheap now. My rather nice wireless one was only $45 shipped. Or here's a basic wired router for under $30 shipped...
