Dear Forum
Aim looking to put together or have built a home Pc with Windows 7 (maybe) as its what am used to.
Also I want to be able to have a dual screen to use CAD in 2D, as I submit plans for planning permission on new build extension ext, this is a new side line from home, hence the small budget.
With this being a new Pc could you adivse the best way to get Windows & CAD software, & the best components for the Pc.
My budget is around £ 500-600.
Thanks Tim :)

^ Specifically you'll need to use a mix of HDMI, VGA or DVI... OR get a DVI to VGA cord and you'll be fine..

Should be more than enough for Autocad and other programs. I have full version Auto Cad 2012 and solidworks 2014 and they dont use that much. I guess for big assemblies they can use quite a bit of RAM and processing power, but I only use it for small designs.

You can get the student versions for free, as to how much they actually cost to buy I don't know. I think for recent versions they are quite costly.
