Can anyone help?
My homepage (blueyonder) only occupies the middle section of the screen How can I optimise the size to fit the whole screen.

I think what he wants to to is to make his website optimal for 768x1024 resolution instead of a default 600x800.

And if so, It looks fine to me. You generally keep a website like that, otherwise the text formatting gets messed up when it changes sizes. The way the page is keeps it nice an uniform.

yeah...I thought he was talking about a website that has some sort of special bg that looks terrible using higher res.

currently running on 1440 x 900 resolution. Tried varyin it but makes things even worse.

Yes it is. Its made that way so the text stays consistant on any video resolution.

But why is the text overwritten?
My text size is set at medium

Well, it their format. They are using tables and centering it in the middle so no matter how you stretch your browser or how big you make it, it'll aways stay in the middle.
