Hooking a NETBOOK to a 24" display - possible?

Hi

I have a 24" computer monitor, and I am thinking of buying one of those small NETbooks (HP mini or Asus eee, for example).

I was wondering if i'll be able to connect my netbook to the outside monitor and whether this will effect the performance of the netbook.

[i guess i am asking if there is a correlation between screen size and the performance of the netbook].

Is this even possible?

THANKS

Sure is, I have the samsung NC10 connected to my 19" Samsung monitor or my Acer 24". Just plug in the VGA cable and use it either as the primary monitor or the second monitor.

You can have the monitor set to what ever res you want ie this 19" is 1280 x 1024 and the netbook is 1024 x 600 lol!

Oh and I see no issue with system speed when connected to either monitor (nc10 has 2gb ram - but I do not think that has a bearing on it)

Runs fine, i use it to watch my cctv on the big screen while working on the other screen

i have a netbook hooked up to the living room tv 40" sony.
and use a wireless keyboard and mouse. for fun. showing pictures etc. kids like playing young kids games.
its interesting. One note the tv does have a video jack in the back for this.
