Hooking up 2 LCD monitors onto 1 video card

I'm helping a friend hook up his 19" LCD and his new SONY LCDTV to the same ATI X700 video card. The card itself already has DVI, S-Video, and RGB. I managed to use DVI for the LCD, and RBG for the LCDTV, but windows won't let me mirror both, instead it's forcing me to use extended desktop. Is there any way I can make the mirroring work?

I haven't had a chance to look at ATI's own Catalyst Center because it's having trouble opening. Is it a requirement to install .NET framework for it to work properly?

thanks guys :)

go to the desktop, right click on the desktop and click on properties. select the settings tab and click advanced. the ati properties will come up. click on displays (the tv should already be hooked up to the comp at this point) and there is a picture of a tv and it says tv. press the red button and it should turn green. then i think there is a popup and it resets the screen and you should get the tv to come up with the comp screen. also, make sure the tv is powered on during these steps.

not sure, but i know that the catalyst control center has many different options for having 2 monitors.

What about the 'Hydravision' sw, is that installed separately, and does it require .NET as well?

thx guys
