Hooking up a TV

OK, So I got my new rig running, then I see my TV and it hits me, I have the tv output ports, why not...
I've got all the cords etc, they plug into the computer, I'm not sure where they go in my TV, Do I need a special tv? Its just a 51cm CRT tv.
I couldn't find any help with the supplies booklets via sparkle, or Nvdia, and neither websites where any help.

In the event I get it plugged in, what will it show? could it be used as a monitor?

You would need an S-Video or DVI input along with the software portion to expand or clone the desktop unless used as the primary display. That will often require booting with the tv alone for proper detection.
