Hooking up fans to Tower 112

I am getting all my boxes in now from newegg for my first build, so starting to pull things out and look things over. My case still hasn't arrived, but it should be here before the weekend (the questions should start flying then). Right now I'm looking at my Thermaltake Tower112 HSF and the 2 90mm SilentCat's I bought for it. I was thinking that I should hook them up so air moves one way. So one fan blows into the heat pipes and one moves it back out. Am I wrong on that?

The fan came with long screws, so I'm guessing it was made to be pointed so the air can move one way or the other.

This has to be mounted before I put the mobo in, so I should put the processor and hs on before putting it in the case....right? I know this is all pretty basic stuff, but right now I'm crapping my pants looking at all these parts spread out on my table. Just don't want to screw anything up. :o

Edit: Okay, this is what I'm talking about when I think I'll screw something up. It's not the fan that came with long screws, it's the hs. So should this fan be mounted in a reverse way, and if so, do I need to get some longer screws to make that happen. <waiting for someone to post saying I'm nuts and they shouldn't be mounted like that at all> ;)

you asking about which way the fan for the Heat Sink should be mounted? or are you asking about airflow in your case?

I bought 2 fans for this heatsink Tower 112 and wondering if I should rig them to both blow in the same direction (which would be towards the rear of the case since that is the direction my case is supposed to move air). The website shows only one fan hooked up to the unit, but 2 can be attached.

If I can't get the SilentCat to hook up to both ends, should I try an 80mm fan that has screw holes on both sides? So then I'll have a 90 mm fan on one side and an 80 mm on the other. And if so, then which should be pushing air and which pulling? Geez, I hope this makes sense.....I'm starting to get confused by it.

The directions say to have the fan facing the ram, so I guess the hs airflow won't be the direction that I thought.

the front fans should be blowing fans in the case and the back fans going out the case

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm wondering about the heatpipe though.

have them flowing twards the back of your case, just like in my awesome lil paint image show here:

dont have your HSF blowing forward when the airflow in your case if going backward....

Ku-sama, Ii shashin desu! Arigato Gozaimasu. LMAO! Love the fancy visual aid. I'm a fourth grade teacher and that is just the type of thing I would draw for a science demonstration for my class. I took a closer look at the Tower112 link I posted above and it shows how 2 SilentCat's are attached. I just need to get some long screws for one of them.

I'll take your advice and point them towards the back of the case. With my Epox board the hsf fans will blow right into the onboard rear stuff that sticks out of the back of the case (sound, Lan plugs, etc...).
