Hi.

I have a really nice server that i was able to host out of my dorm room because we were granted global IP's that you could statically configure so they would never change!!! I was able to host up to 30 websites out of my college dorm room. Well now im home and i want to continue hosting for free, what are the steps i have to go throuhg to host out of my house considering most ISP's block port 80? How do i point my domain to my crappy little linksys IP, and how do i set that up for hosting?

host your domain through dynamic domain hosts services. Godaddy.com lets you do that. You can redirect your domain to a different IP and host it yourself. YOu first set this up in your Domain Hosts CP, then configure your router to allow whatever porst necessary. Or if you have a dynamic IP there is software to track when it changes and update your webpage.

As far as the ISP limiting you, I am not sure it probably depends on each individual ISP.
