andy5667 New Member Feb 21, 2006 #2 It should shut down before 100. I would advise a new hsf. The one that came with my celeron d still lets it overheat and its only 2.53GHz.

Geoff VIP Member Feb 21, 2006 #7 I would open your case up, take off the heatsink and then re-apply it, making sure thats it's on there securely. Also, if there is no thermal compound (white/gray pasty stuff), then you really should get some.
