I have A laptop and when I use it to do intense tasks such as games my entire comp. heats up to 100+ degrees.
After 2 hrs of playing a game with my friend over LAN I could easily get burnt by touching my comp. while his laptop is... warm or cold cmpared to mine
Is this bad?
Also when I prop up my computer in a position where it Has more air flow it does not get as hot

Will cooling my computer make it run faster?

you can see Im full of Q's

Somewhere between 60*C to 80*C is typically the max temp, at least for desktop processors. I normally try to keep my Averatec under 40*C.

If you're going to be playing games on your laptop or something, I saw this thing at Walmart that basically propped the laptop up off the ground. It's really made to have an external keyboard and mouse as the laptop's at a pretty sharp angle. The bottom area that the laptop sat on was mesh, so it should get plenty of air...

ye aim guesing that its got bad circulation, but if its on a flat surface and its not being covered at all and its still getting hot i dunno, maybe its got a lot of dust build up?

well for my desktop it overheats from dust build up.

i have to vacuum all the dust out of the cpu heatsink or it goes over 60 degrees Celcius
